Winiame
A fashion identity rooted in African heritage
A bold, luxurious identity for a fashion label that grew from a personal brand into a global one.

The problem
Winiame blends the founder’s names, Winnie and Ameh, and celebrates African heritage. It started as a personal brand and grew into a fashion label.
It needed an identity bold enough to stand out in fashion, with the elegance and sophistication of a luxury house.
What I decided
I built everything from the monogram. The W and M interlock into a zigzag that repeats into a signature pattern, so the brand is recognisable even without the logo.
Copperplate carries the wordmark and Mena Grotesk everything else, and the palette stays black, white and warm neutrals so the pattern does the talking.
The build
Monogram and wordmark, type system, signature pattern, store and window graphics, apparel and accessories (scarves, hats, caps, shoes and a blazer), labels and swing tags, bags and an app icon.
